Chinese hand decorated antique chest - late 19th Century

This is a large, very beautiful hand made and hand painted Chinese wooden chest, dating from the late 19th Century, possibly early 20th and in original, unrestored condition. The chest is made of wood with brass fittings, with the hinges in good order. The chest is completely unrestored and shows the kind of wear you would expect. You can have it restored but we feel it will lose some of its charm in the process. This is a highly collectible piece of Chinese art and an excellent investment.
