This is a simply beautiful Tiffany & Co Art Deco watch that I have been looking forward to offering to my customers. I sense someone is going to receive a lovely present. Dating from the late 1930s, the watch is of course genuine Tiffany and is in as near to mint condition as you will find for a watch of this age, with no significant wear. It features a solid platinum case set with 36 sparkly, genuine diamonds [more sparkly in reality than photographed], a high grade hand wound 15 jewel Swiss movement and a mint clean dial. The watch is incredibly good value, as any modern-day Tiffany platinum and diamond item would be priced in excess of 10,000. It will provide an excellent financial investment.
The solid platinum diamond encrusted case is classic Art Deco in design and is in excellent condition, with no significant wear. It is set with 36 diamonds, all of which are genuine, high grade and firmly set. It is obviously very high quality, as you would expect from Tiffany, and measures 12.5mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 45.5mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes correctly on a hinge and the inside is marked for platinum. The outside back is gleaming, with no wear, and does not carry a personal inscription.
The lovely Art Deco dial is in mint clean condition and is signed 'Tiffany & Co'. The original blued steel hands are also in excellent, unbent condition and the lens is very clear.
The high quality hand wound 15 Jewel movement is excellent quality and is in very clean condition, with a plastic movement cover protecting it. It was made for Tiffany by Swiss watchmakers Crusader and is signed 'Crusader', 'Swiss Made', 'Fifteen rubies' and '81188'. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order.
The watch is on a cord cocktail strap with metal fittings and clasp, which is in excellent condition. The watch comes complete with a new, quality watch box for safekeeping.
A stunning and valuable watch from one of history's most famous names; full of charm and elegance. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
You can feel confident buying from me - I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. I also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess the working order) and a professional insurance valuation. I also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address, in the New Bond Street area. I offer my customers online prices - well below value - with offline availability and service.
