Stunning Cartier solid 18ct gold ladies watch - c1980s

This is a valuable, rare, heavy Cartier ladies' watch, dating from the 1980s and in superb hardly-worn condition. The watch is all original - nothing changed or restored - and features a gleaming solid 18ct gold case (the tiny scratches on the back are hardly noticeable to the eye and we can remove them if you wish), original sapphire Cabochon winding crown, original rare gleaming 'hooped' solid 18ct gold bracelet, mint original dial and a Cartier quartz movement. It comes complete with a vintage Cartier presentation case. The watch makes a very impressive statement on the wrist; a luxury watch for evening wear, and will only rise in value. It is heavy in the hand - 49 grams - plenty of gold.

The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in virtual condition, with very minor wear, and is 24mm wide excluding the original winding crown x 5mm thick x 31mm long including the solid gold 'ball' lugs. The screwdown rear of the case is signed 'Cartier', 'Water Resistant', 'Swiss Made', '1989', 'CC50393' and carries Swiss hallmarks for 18ct gold. The case does not carry a personal inscription.

The original, unrestored dial is in mint condition and is signed 'Cartier' and 'Swiss'. The original blued steel hands are in excellent condition and the original lens is perfectly clear.

The high grade Cartier quartz movement is in perfect working order, with no issues.

This lovely watch is on its original solid 18ct gold bracelet, which is a rare 'hoop' design. The bracelet is hallmarked for 18ct gold and will fit a 6" wrist. The watch comes complete with a vintage Cartier watch box.
