Rolex solid 18ct gold ladies watch - c1960s

This is a beautiful Rolex ladies vintage watch - one of the nicest I have had for a long time. Dating from the 1960s, the watch is in excellent condition and is of course authentic. The watch features a solid 18ct gold beautifully decorated case, original signed Rolex crown, a very clean original dial and a high grade Rolex 17 jewel hand wound movement. The watch comes complete with a new genuine Rolex crocodile strap, original Rolex gold-plated buckle and a new watch box. The watch will make an outstanding financial investment.

The solid 18ct gold case is beautifully decorated and in excellent condition, with very minor wear to the back that can be polished out. The case measures 16mm wide, excluding the original signed crown (signed with the famous Rolex coronet emblem) x 23mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes correctly and the outside back is signed with the '756898' serial number and the famous Rolex coronet emblem. The inside back is signed 'Montres Rolex SA', 'Geneva Switzerland' and '9777' (the model reference number) and carries the appropriate Swiss hallmarks for solid 18ct gold.

The original, unrestored dial is in very clean condition and is signed 'Rolex', 'Precision' and 'Swiss made'. The hour batons are a beautiful design and are all applied, as is the Rolex coronet emblem. The original hands are also in excellent condition, and the original lens is very clear.

The Rolex hand-wound 17 jewel movement is excellent quality, as you would expect and in crisp, clean condition. It is signed 'Rolex Precision', 'Swiss' and 'Seventeen Rubis'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in excellent working order.

I have put this beautiful watch on a new genuine Rolex crocodile strap. Attached to the strap is the original Rolex gold-plated buckle. The watch comes complete with a new, quality watch box.
