This is a simply beautiful Rolex ladies vintage watch, dating from 1918 and in simply superb all-original condition for its age, with no significant wear. It is clear that it has rarely been worn in its lifetime. The watch features a high quality solid silver case with 'swinging', a very clean dial and a high-grade Rolex 15 jewel hand-wound movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age. The watch comes on a new quality Hirsch strap and comes complete with a new, quality presentation case for wrapping as the perfect gift.

The solid silver case is in excellent near-mint gleaming condition - amazing for its age - and measures 26mm, excluding the original unsigned winding crown x 36mm long, including the lovely solid silver articulated lugs. The back closes tightly and the inside back is signed 'Rolex', 'W&D' (for Willsdorf and Davies, the founders of Rolex), 'Swiss', the 974905' case reference numbers and carries London import hallmarks for solid silver, dating to 1918.

The Art Deco dial is original with no restoration and is in very clean condition for a watch of this age. It is very rare to find an unrestored dial from this era in clean condition. The dial features lovely classic Art Deco numbers and is signed 'Rolex' and 'Swiss made'. The original blued steel hands are a lovely design an are in excellent unbent condition, and the original lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound 15 jewel Rolex movement is in very clean condition - much brighter than photographed - and is signed 'Rolex', '15 Jewels' and 'Swiss made'. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order.

This lovely watch is on a new quality Hirsch black leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new, quality presentation case, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
