Description

This is a simply beautiful Omega ladies watch, dating from 1959 and in as near to mint original condition as you will ever find for a watch dating back over 50 years. There is so little wear that it is clear that the watch has rarely been worn in its lifetime. The watch comes from a private collection and was originally made for the American market. It features a gorgeous solid 14ct white gold case set with 24 genuine diamonds, original signed Omega winding crown, a very clean original dial and a high quality Omega 17 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order. The watch comes complete with its original cocktail strap and gold filled clasp, which are also in excellent condition, and a new, quality presentation case. I sense it will make someone a very special present.

The solid 14ct white gold case is a very rare design - absolutely beautiful. It is in excellent, bright condition and is set with 24 genuine glittery diamonds. The case measures 14mm, excluding the original signed winding crown [signed with the famous Omega emblem] x 28mm long. The back closes correctly and the inside back is signed 'Omega Watch Co', '14k gold', 'L&W' [the casemakers] and the 'A7906 55313' case reference numbers.

The original, unrestored dial is beautiful and is in very clean condition, with no visible wear. The dial is signed 'Omega' and features white gold hour markers. The original white gold hands are in excellent unbent condition, and the original lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound Omega movement [Cal 482] is in excellent, bright condition, and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Seventeen 17 Jewels', 'Adj two 2 positions', '482', 'Swiss' and the '17399990' movement reference number. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age.

This lovely watch is on its original cocktail strap with white gold filled sliding clasp, both of which are in excellent condition for a watch of this age. The inner circumference is 172mm. The watch comes complete with a new quality presentation case for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.

A superb collection-standard vintage watch from one of history's most famous names; full of charm and elegance. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.

You can feel confident buying from me - I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. I also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address, in the New Bond Street area.
