IWC chronograph moonphase ladies’ watch - c1990s

This is a very cool ladies' IWC chronograph watch, dating from the late 1990s and in excellent condition. It features a solid steel case, original screw down crown, mint dial with date and moonphase functions and high grade IWC 25 jewel mechaquartz movement (part mechanical, part quartz). The movement is in excellent working order and the watch comes with its original IWC strap and original IWXC steel buckle. I will post the watch in a new, quality presentation box. The watch originally retailed for £4,500 back in the 1990s and IWC made relatively few of them, so my price is very fair.

My asking price is well below the value of the watch, given the continual rise in value of IWC watches of this quality, so only sensible best offers please and only through Ebay. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the working order. I also include a professional insurance valuation, in excess of my price. I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. The solid steel case is in excellent, bright condition, with minor wear, and measures 28.5mm wide, excluding the original screw-down crown x 38mm long including the swinging lugs. The back closes correctly and the outside is signed ‘2746506 ‘. The inside is signed ‘IWC Probus Scafusia’, ‘International Watch Co’, ‘Stainless steel’ and ‘2746506 3736’.

The stunning original dial is in perfect, mint condition. It features chronograph and date functions, both of which work correctly. The dial is signed ‘IWC’, ‘Schaffhausen’ and ‘Swiss made’. The original steel hands, including flyback centre second hand, are in perfect unbent condition and the original lens is very clear with one tiny scratch.

The 25 jewel mechaquartz movement (Cal 630/1) is in excellent working order and is signed ‘IWC’, ‘Swiss made’, ‘Twenty five (25) jewels’, ‘Unadjusted’, ‘2941760’ and ‘630/1’. The central movement is quartz while the chronograph functions are mechanical.

This beautiful watch is on its original gently worn leather strap, which is signed IWC, and attached is the original signed IWC steel buckle, which is in gleaming condition. A new quality watch box will be provided, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
