This is a beautiful Tiffany & Co. watch dating from 1949 and featuring a movement made for Tiffany by Omega. The watch is in as very good condition for its age and features a solid 9ct gold case, a high-grade hand-wound Omega movement and a clean dial. The watch was made for the English market, is a rare piece and comes complete with a new high quality cocktail strap and a quality watch presentation case.

The solid 9ct gold case is in excellent bright condition, with no significant wear and can be polished further to taste. It measures 16mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 33mm long, including the lugs. The case was made by Dennison the famous English casemakers, showing that the watch was made for the English market. The case back closes correctly and the inside is marked 'Dennison', 'ALD', 'Made in England', '52964 277031' and Birmingham hallmarks for solid 9ct gold, dating to 1949.

The lovely dial is in mint clean condition and is signed 'Tiffany & Co.' and 'Swiss made'. The original hands are also in excellent, unbent condition, as is the lens.

The high quality hand-wound Omega movement is excellent quality and is in near mint, gleaming condition. It is covered by a steel movement cap which is fiddly to remove so we would rather not remove it for photographing, since it has been replaced by our watchmaker after servicing. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled and is in very good working order.

The watch is on a new, high quality cocktail strap and comes complete with a new, quality watch box for safekeeping.
