This is a stunning ladies Art Deco platinum and diamond wristwatch by Asprey - the world-renowned historic jewellers. Dating from the 1920s, the watch is in very good condition for a watch of this age - more impressive than photographed. The watch features a diamond-encrusted solid platinum case, original solid 9ct white gold bracelet and clasp, a clean original Art Deco dial and a freshly-serviced Swiss movement. It comes complete with a new quality watch box.
Asprey Jewellers of Bond Street, London, have been in business since 1781 and have been assigned Royal warrants since the 1800s. They are one of history's most exclusive names. The watch is rare and highly collectible in this kind of condition; an excellent financial investment.

The solid platinum hinged case is just stunning! Beautifully engraved and encrusted with 30 genuine glittery diamonds. It is in excellent condition - more gleaming than photographed. The case measures 10mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 43mm long including the decorated lugs. The back of the case closes correctly on a hinge and the inside of the case back is signed for platinum.
The beautiful original, unrestored Art Deco dial is in very clean condition, with minor and even wear, and is signed 'Asprey'. The original blued steel hands are in perfect unbent condition and the lens is very clear, with no significant marks or scratches.
The quality Swiss hand-wound movement is in good condition and has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker. It is in good working order for a watch of this age.
This beautiful watch is on a vintage cord cocktail strap, which is in good used condition. The watch comes in a new, quality watch box, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
