This is a beautiful, rare Rolex Rolco gents vintage watch, dating from the late 1920s Art Deco period. The watch was made as a gents watch but is small by today's standards, so will suit either a gent who prefers a smaller watch or a lady who prefers a larger one - please check the case measurements below. It is in excellent condition and features a gleaming stainless steel case, excellent, crisp hand wound Rolex Rolco movement and a beautiful clean quartered dial. The watch comes complete with a new, high quality Hirsch leather strap and a new, quality presentation case. Rolex made Rolco watches during the 1920s and 30s - a quick Google search should verify that.

The stainless steel case is in excellent, bright gleaming condition and measures 22mm wide, excluding the winding crown x 38mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes correctly and firmly and the edges of the top and bottom are in good condition, showing that the case has always been opened with care. The inside is signed 'SAR' and 'Stainless steel'.

The beautiful Art Deco quartered dial is in perfectly clean condition, with no wear and is signed 'Rolex Rolco'. The original steel hands are in very good, unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The hand wound Rolex-made movement is in lovely clean condition. It is excellent quality, as you would expect, and is signed 'Rolco', '15 Rubies' and 'Swiss made'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

I have put the watch is on a new, high quality Hirsch leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new, high quality watch case.
