This is a highly-collectable gents Rolex Oyster Junior Sport vintage watch, dating from the late 1930s, and in very good all-original condition - a collectors dream. All parts of the watch are original to each other and the watch features a steel case, hand wound Rolex 15 jewel movement and an original, unrestored dial. The watch is small by today's standards so would suit either a gent who prefers a smaller watch or a lady who prefers a larger one. The watch comes complete with a quality leather strap and a new, quality presentation case.

The steel case is in very good condition for its age and measures 30mm wide, excluding the original screw-down Oyster winding crown [signed 'Oyster Patent'] x 39mm long, including the lugs. The case back screws closed correctly and the inside is signed 'Oyster Watch Co', 'RWC Ltd' [for Rolex Watch Company], 'Geneve Swiss', 'Patented in all countries' and the '2784' reference number. The outside case back carries the '280864' case reference number.

The beautiful original, unrestored dial is in good condition with even minor wear and is signed 'Oyster Junior Sport', 'Extra Prima' and 'Swiss Made'. The original steel hands are in very good, unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The hand wound Rolex 15 jewel movement is in good, clean condition, brighter and sharper than photographed. It is excellent quality, as you would expect, and is signed Rolex on the other side of the movement, under the dial. The visible side of the movement is signed '15 Rubies', 'Swiss made' and '11'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

I have put this lovely watch on a new, quality brown leather strap. The watch comes complete with a new, high quality watch case.
