This is a beautiful example of a gents Rolex Oyster Royal [Model 6246 /Ref 234207], dating from 1957 and in very good all-original condition - nothing changed or restored. The watch is nicer in reality than photographed so you will be pleased when it arrives. It features a solid steel Oyster case, original signed Rolex crown, Rolex hand-wound 15 jewel movement, and original unrestored cream dial. The watch comes complete with its original Rolex steel buckle on a new non-Rolex leather strap, and a new watch box. A highly collectable vintage Rolex that will only rise further in value.

The solid steel Oyster case is in very good bright condition. It measures 31mm wide, excluding the original screw-down crown [signed with the famous Rolex crown emblem] x 39mm long, including the lugs. The case back screws correctly closed and the inside is correctly signed 'Montres Rolex SA', 'Geneva', 'Switzerland', 'Patented', 'Stainless steel', '6246' and '157'. It is clearly signed '234207' and '6246' between the lugs.

The beautiful original, unrestored cream dial is in very good condition for its age, with minor and even wear. It features applied Arabic numbers and is signed 'Rolex Oyster Royal, Shock resisting and Swiss. The original hands, including centre seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The Rolex hand-wound 15 jewel movement is excellent quality, as you would expect and in crisp, clean condition. It is signed Rolex', '28780', 'Rolex', '15 rubis', 'Swiss made' and '710'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

This lovely watch comes complete with its original steel Rolex buckle - which is signed 'Rolex SA', 'Swiss', 'acierinox' - on a new non-Rolex strap. It will be posted in a new non-Rolex watch box, for safekeeping.
