This is a beautiful, rare Rolex gents vintage watch [Ref 3892], dating from the 1940s, and in very good condition. All parts of the watch are original to each other and the watch features a gleaming chromed case [the back is far more gleaming than photographed], excellent, crisp hand wound Rolex movement and a beautiful dial. The watch was made as a gents watch but is small by today's standards, so will suit either a gent who prefers a smaller watch or a lady who prefers a larger one - please check the case measurements below. The watch comes complete with a new, high quality Hirsch crocodile strap and a new, quality presentation case.

The chromed case is in excellent, bright gleaming condition, with no significant wear - the outside back in particular is far more gleaming than photographed. It measures 29mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 34.5mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes perfectly and firmly and the edges of the top and bottom are in good condition, showing that the case has always been opened with care. The inside is correctly signed 'Rolex', 'Geneve Suisse' and the '3892' reference number.

The beautiful dial is in perfectly clean condition, with no wear and is signed 'Rolex', 'Shock resisting and 'Swiss made'. The original steel hands are in very good, unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The hand wound Rolex movement is in lovely condition, brighter and sharper than photographed. It is excellent quality, as you would expect, and is signed 'Rolex', '15 Rubis' and 'Swiss made'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.
