This is an extremely rare Rolex gents Art Deco vintage watch - if you collect Rolex watches you should seriously consider it as you are unlikely ever to see another. Dating from the 1920s, this stunning watch features a very large case for a watch of this era - 28mm wide, excluding crown x 39mm long, including lugs. The solid 18ct gold curvex case is made of both yellow and white gold. The watch also features a beautifully clean Rolex dial and a crisp hand wound Rolex 15 jewel movement. The watch comes complete with a new, quality 22mm leather strap and a new, quality presentation case.

The solid 18ct gold three-piece hinged case is in excellent, bright gleaming condition, with minor wear that will easily polish out. It is curved and is made of two yellow gold sections with a white gold centre section. It measures a large 28mm wide, excluding the winding crown x 39mm long, including the lugs. The case back opens on a hinge and the hinge is in good condition. The inside back is signed 'Rolex', 'Geneve Suisse', '25 Records Universels' and 'RWCLtd'. The outside back is hallmarked and carries the '2534. 196658' reference numbers.

The beautiful dial is in perfectly clean condition, with no wear and features applied Arabic numerals. It is signed 'Rolex' and 'Swiss made'. The original hands are in very good, unbent condition, and the lens is clear, with minor wear.

The hand wound Rolex 15 jewel movement is in good condition, brighter and sharper than photographed. It is high quality, as you would expect, and is signed 'Rolex', '15 Rubis' and 'Fab Suisse' and 'Swiss Made'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

I have put this beautiful watch on a new, quality leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new, quality watch case.
