This is a beautiful Omega Seamaster dating from 1965 and in excellent, clean all-original condition - a very fine example. It features a stunning original, unrestored silvered dial with date function, a gold top/steel back case, signed original crown and 24 jewel automatic movement [Cal 562]. The watch comes complete with a new Hirsch strap and a new quality watch box. The value of Omega watches is on the rise so it will make an excellent financial investment.
You can feel confident buying from me - I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. I also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess the working order) and a professional insurance valuation. I also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address, in the New Bond Street area. I offer my customers online prices - well below value - with offline availability and service.
The gold top/steel back screwback case is in excellent, clean condition with no significant wear. It measures 34.5mm wide, excluding the original signed crown x 41.7mm long including the lugs. The back closes tightly and the inside is signed 'Omega Watch Company', 'Fab Suisse Swiss Made', 'Acier Inoxydable', 'CB', 'SC', '1' and reference '14701'. The outside back of the cases carries the famous Seamaster emblem.
The original, unrestored silvered dial is in very clean condition - just stunning. It features applied steel batons and Omega insignia and is signed 'Omega', 'Automatic', 'Seamaster' and 'Swiss made'. The original steel hands, including centre-seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition and the lens is very clear. The date function is working correctly.
The automatic 24 jewel movement [Cal 562] is in very good working order and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Swiss', 'Twenty four 24 Jewels', '562' and the '22643699' movement reference number . The movement has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order - brighter and cleaner than photographed.
This beautiful watch comes complete with a new Hirsch strap and a new quality watch box.
A very special vintage watch from one of history's most famous names; highly collectable. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
