This is a simply beautiful New-Old-Stock Omega Constellation Daydate - never sold or worn. The watch dates from 1966 and is in excellent, vintage-mint all-original condition. It features a stunning original, unrestored silvered dial, a steel case, 24 jewel automatic movement [Cal 751] with German daydate function and original signed crown. The watch comes complete with its original mint Omega steel buckle, Omega sales tag and original Omega box. The strap is non-original. It is rare to find a NOS Omega Constellation so the watch will provide an excellent financial investment.
Our asking price is very good value for a watch that will only rise further in value. Such is the high quality of the watch, we will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the running order. We also include a professional insurance valuation, in excess of our asking price. Also, we offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. Please feel free to arrange to view the watch in central London.
The solid steel screwback case is in excellent, clean condition with no significant wear. It measures 35.5mm wide, excluding the original signed crown x 39.5mm long including the lugs. The back closes tightly and the inside is signed 'Omega Watch Company', 'Fab Suisse Swiss Made', 'Acier Inoxydable' and reference '168.016'. The outside back of the cases carries the famous Constellation emblem.
The original, unrestored silvered dial is in mint clean condition - just stunning. It features applied steel batons and Omega insignia and is signed 'Omega', 'Automatic chronometer officially certified', 'Constellation' and 'Swiss made'. The original steel hands, including centre-seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition and the lens is very clear.
The automatic 24 jewel movement [Cal 751] is in very good working order and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Swiss', 'Adjusted five 5 positions and temerature', '24 Jewels', '751' and the '27651811' movement reference number . The movement has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order - brighter and cleaner than photographed.
This beautiful watch comes complete with its original mint Omega steel buckle and a new, quality non-Omega strap. The original owner inexplicably changed the strap, even though he never wore the watch! The watch also comes complete with its original Omega watch box, which is in excellent condition.
A very special vintage watch from one history's most famous names; highly collectable. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
