Omega Constellation Cosmic 18ct gold gents watch - c1967

This is a simply stunning Omega Constellation Cosmic, dating from 1967 and in mint vintage condition, with no significant wear. The watch was made for the English market and features a heavy 35mm solid 18ct yellow gold case, original signed crown, mint clean original gold dial with date function and a clean, freshly serviced automatic Omega 24 jewel chronometer movement (Cal 565). It comes complete with a new Hirsch leather strap and a new, quality non-Omega presentation case. The watch makes a very impressive statement on the wrist, something a bit different with a history, and will only rise in value. The watch is even better in reality than photographed so we know someone is going to be very pleased to receive it.

The heavy, gleaming solid 18ct yellow gold case is in near mint gleaming condition and measures 35mm wide, excluding the original signed winding crown x 11mm thick x 40mm long, including the lugs. The inside case is signed 'Omega Watch Co', the 'CWC' case makers mark, the '3685009' case reference number and a full set of English (London) hallmarks for 18ct gold, dating to 1967. The case does not carry a personal inscription.

The original, unrestored gold dial is in mint condition, with no significant wear, and features a date function and applied hour markers and Omega insignia. It is signed 'Omega Automatic Chronometer', 'Officially Certified', 'Constellation' and 'Swiss Made'. The original hands are in excellent unbent condition and the original lens is very clear.

The high-grade automatic Omega 24 jewel movement (Cal 565) is in excellent, clean, crisp condition and is signed 'Omega Watch Co Swiss', 'Twenty-Four 24 Jewels', 'Adjusted Five (5) Positions And Temperature', the '31177642' serial number and '565'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order, with no issues. All functions work correctly.

We have put this lovely watch on a new Hirsch leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new non-Omega watch case.
