Enquire about this product

This is a stunning example of the famous Omega Constellation chronometer, dating from 1966 - the year England won the world cup - and in simply superb clean all-original condition. The condition is so good that it is clear the watch has rarely been worn. It would be described as mint vintage condition, with very minor wear, and is one of the best examples of this watch we have seen.

The watch features a 35mm gold-capped case, which includes a heavy amount of gold. The gold is a gorgeous colour too. It also features the original signed winding crown, high-grade 24 jewel Omega chronometer automatic movement (Cal 561) and a beautiful mint clean original silvered dial with original hands and date feature and gold/onyx baton hour markers. The watch comes complete with a new quality Hirsch leather strap and a quality watch box for safekeeping. As with all our watches, it is freshly serviced by a master watchmaker.

The heavily gold capped case is in excellent gleaming condition and measures 35mm wide, excluding the original Omega signed crown x 11mm thick x 40mm long, including the lugs. The outside case back carries the famous Observatory emblem and the inside case is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Fab Suisse Swiss Made', 'Fond Acier Inoxydable' and 'CD 168.017'.

The beautiful original silvered dial is in mint clean condition, with no significant wear whatsoever. The dial features gold/onyx baton hour markers and a date function. It is signed 'Omega Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified', 'Constellation' and 'Swiss made'. The original black & gold hands, including centre seconds hand, are in excellent, unbent condition, and the lens is extremely clear.

The automatic Omega 24 jewel chronometer grade movement is in excellent clean condition and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Adjusted Five (5) Positions And Temperature', 'Twenty-Four 24 Jewels', '561', 'Swiss' and the '24307576' serial number. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

This beautiful watch is on a new quality Hirsch leather strap, complete with gleaming gold-plated buckle. The watch will be presented in a new, quality watch box for safekeeping.

A superb chronometer grade watch from one of watch history's most famous names; will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.

We offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy with your purchase. We also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess the working order) and a professional insurance valuation (we are approved to provide insurance valuations for wrist and pocket watches). We also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address - by appointment only. We offer our customers online prices - below value - with offline availability and service.
