Omega Constellation automatic chronometer vintage watch - c1966

This is beautiful Omega Constellation Chronometer watch, dating from 1966 and in very good all-original worn condition. The watch has not photographed well so you can expect it to be more clean in reality. It features a mint silvered dial, original Omega lens, steel screwback case with original signed crown, Omega 24 jewel automatic movement [Cal 551] and original Omega steel bracelet. The watch will provide an excellent financial investment and can be polished further to taste if you wish.

The solid steel and screwback case is in good unpolished condition, with expected wear. It can be polished to taste. It measures 33mm wide, excluding the original signed crown x 40mm long including the lugs. The back closes tightly and the inside is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Fab Suisse Swiss Made', 'Acier Inoxydable' and reference '167.005'. The outside back of the case carries the famous Constellation emblem.

The original, silvered dial is in mint clean condition - just stunning. It features applied steel batons and Omega insignia and is signed 'Omega', 'Automatic chronometer officially certified', 'Constellation' and 'Swiss made'. The original dauphin steel hands, including centre-seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition and the original Omega lens (has the tiny Omega logo in the centre) is very clear.

The automatic 24 jewel movement [Cal 561] is in very good working order and is in much better and brighter condition than photographed, It is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Swiss', 'Adjusted five 5 positions and temperature', '24 Jewels', '551' and the '24415721' movement reference number. The movement has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order - brighter and cleaner than photographed.

This beautiful watch is on its original Omega steel bracelet, which is in good used condition. The watch will fit a maximum 8.2 inch wrist size and adjusts down to smaller sizes. The watch also comes complete with a new quality watch box for safekeeping.
