Omega Constellation automatic chronometer date watch - c1967

This is a simply beautiful Omega Constellation; certainly one of the most beautiful we have come across in twenty years - a real stunner. The watch dates from 1967 and is in as near to mint all-original condition as you will find for a watch of this age - virtually new old stock - no changed or restored parts. It features a stunning original, unrestored dial, which has a gorgeous amber hue, a large 35mm steel case, original signed crown, 24 jewel automatic chronometer grade movement [Cal 564] with quickset date function and original signed Omega lens. The watch comes complete with a new quality genuine crocodile strap and a new later Omega steel buckle. Vintage Omega Constellations in this kind of superb original condition make outstanding financial investments and are rising rapidly in value. The solid steel screwback case is in excellent, clean, crisp condition with no significant wear whatsoever. It measures 35mm wide, excluding the original signed crown x 11mm thick x 40mm long including the lugs. The back screws correctly closed and the inside is signed 'Omega Watch Co.', 'Fab Suisse Swiss Made', 'Stainless steel' and the model ref: SF '168010'. The outside back of the cases is better than photographed and carries the famous Constellation observatory emblem. It is free from any personalisation.

The original, unrestored dial is in superb clean condition - just stunning - and features a quickset date function. It features crisp applied steel batons and Omega insignia and is signed 'Omega', 'Automatic chronometer officially certified', 'Constellation' and 'Swiss made'. The original steel hands, including centre-seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition and the original signed Omega lens is very clear.

The automatic 24 jewel movement [Cal 564] is in virtual mint condition, with very minor wear and better than photographed. It is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Swiss', 'Adjusted five 5 positions and temperature', '24 Jewels', '564' and the '25264565' movement serial number, which dates the watch to 1967. The movement has just been serviced by a professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order, with no issues.

This beautiful watch comes complete with a new, quality genuine crocodile strap and a new later Omega steel buckle. It will be posted in a new, quality non-Omega watch box.
