This is a simply beautiful, rare Omega gents watch, dating from the 1950s and in very good clean condition for its age - better than photographed. The watch comes from my private collection and features a gorgeous solid 18ct gold case with Swiss hallmarks, original unsigned winding crown, a very clean dial and a high quality 15 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order. The watch comes complete with a genuine lizard strap, and a new, quality presentation case. I sense it will make someone a very special present.
You can feel confident buying from me - I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. I also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess the working order) and a professional insurance valuation. I also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address, in the New Bond Street area. I offer my customers online prices - well below value - with offline availability and service.
The solid 18ct gold case is in excellent, gleaming condition for its age and measures 22mm, excluding the original unsigned winding crown x 34mm long, including the lugs. The back closes correctly and the inside back is signed 'Omega', 'Fab Suisse Swiss made', the '10151774' case reference number and carries Swiss hallmarks for solid 18ct gold.
The dial is really a beautiful design, featuring extravagant Roman numerals, and is in very clean condition. It is signed 'Omega'. The original blued steel hands are in excellent unbent condition and the lens is very clear.
The original hand-wound Omega movement is in excellent, bright condition and is signed 'Omega', '15 Jewels', 'Swiss' and the '9221850' movement reference number. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age.
This lovely watch is on a new genuine lizard strap which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new quality presentation case for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
A superb collection-standard vintage watch from one of history's most famous names; full of charm and elegance. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
