This is quite simply the most beautiful Art Deco watch - it is simply stunning, with a HUGE case for a watch from this early era. The case measures 27mm wide, excluding the winding crown x 44mm including the lugs and if you measure that out on a piece of paper you will see that it is large even by todays standards. Made by Moser & Co - a highly respected Swiss watchmaker of the era - the watch dates from the 1920s and is in excellent condition, as you can see from the photos. It features a stunning Art Deco dial, gorgeous solid 18ct gold fancy hinged case and a clean high-quality hand wound movement. The watch comes complete with a quality genuine crocodile strap and a new quality watch box.
The huge solid 18ct gold fancy case is in excellent, gleaming condition for its age, with beautiful engraving. It measures 27mm wide, excluding the original crown x 44mm long including the solid gold fixed bar lugs, which is huge for a watch from this early era. The case back opens on a hinge with the hinge in good order. The outside back of the case carries the '386276 16' case reference numbers and is hallmarked for solid 18ct gold.
The dial is classic Art Deco and is simply stunning, with lovely large numbers. It is in excellent clean condition, with no wear, and is signed 'Moser & Co'. The original hands are in excellent unbent condition and the lens is very clear.
The hand wound movement is high quality and is in very good working order. It has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker and is brighter than photographed.
This beautiful watch comes complete with a high quality genuine crocodile strap, which suits it perfectly, and will be posted in a new quality watch box, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
A very special vintage watch; full of charm and elegance. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
