This is a very high-grade Blancpain modern complication - triple calendar moonphase, featuring a Blancpain/Piguet hand-wound movement - very much discreet luxury. The watch also features a 34mm steel case with 18ct gold bezel, original signed winding crown, original sapphire crystal lens and a clean, freshly serviced hand-wound movement (cal 64). It comes complete with a new Hirsch leather strap and original Blancpain steel buckle. This is a very expensive watch and would have cost a small fortune new. A Blancpain complication of this quality will only rise further in value.
The steel case features an 18ct gold bezel and is in virtual mint condition. It measures 34mm wide, excluding the original signed winding crown x 8mm thick x 37mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes tightly and the outside case is signed 'Acier OR' and '1105' along with a stamp 'JB 1735' and 'Swiss Made'.
The original, unrestored dial is in mint condition and features triple calendar and moonphase. It is signed 'Blancpain', 'JB 1735' and 'Swiss Made'. The original hands are in mint condition and the original sapphire crystal lens is perfect.
The hand-wound Blancpain/Piguet movement (Cal 64) is in excellent, bright, clean condition and is signed 'Blancpain', 'F Piguet SA Le Brassus' (of Audemars Piguet fame), 'Cal 64' and 'Swiss'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in perfect working order, with all functions working correctly.
We have put this lovely watch on a new Hirsch leather strap, attached to which is the original Blancpain steel buckle. The watch comes complete with a new quality non-Blancpain watch case.
A highly collectable complication from a top Swiss maker; will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
