Omega chronograph 18ct gold vintage watch - c1958

This is a very beautiful Omega chronograph watch, dating from 1958 and in excellent condition. The watch features a 34.5mm solid 18ct gold case, a perfectly clean dial and a clean, freshly serviced hand-wound Omega 17 jewel movement (Cal 320). It comes complete with a new Hirsch leather strap, original Omega gold-plated vintage buckle and a new, quality non-Omega presentation case. The watch makes a very impressive statement on the wrist, something a bit different with a history, and will only rise in value.

The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent bright condition and measures 34.5mm wide, excluding the replacement winding crown x 12mm thick x 40mm long, including the lovely curved solid gold lugs. The case back closes tightly and the inside case is signed 'Omega Watch Co', the '11480512 & OT 2872' serial numbers and the appropriate hallmarks for Swiss 18ct gold. The case has no personal engraving.

The professionally restored dial is in mint condition and features gold applied hour markers and Omega emblem. It is signed 'Omega', 'Swiss Made'. The original hands, including centre seconds hand, are in fine condition and the lens is very clear.The hand-wound Omega 17 jewel (Cal 320) movement is in excellent, clean condition and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Seventeen 17 Jewels', '320', the '15498532' serial number and 'Swiss'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order, with no issues.

We have put this lovely watch on a new Hirsch leather strap, attached to which is the original gold-plated Omega buckle. The watch comes complete with a new non-Omega watch case.
