Omega Art Deco vintage watch - c1930s

This is a beautiful, very rare Omega Art Deco gents vintage watch, dating from the 1930s and in all original condition. The watch is highly collectable and features a two-tone dial, steel steel case and a clean hand wound 15 jewel movement. The watch comes complete with a new, quality leather strap and a new, quality presentation case.

My asking price is good value, given the continual rise in value of vintage Omega watches of this rarity and condition. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the running order. I also include a professional insurance valuation, in excess of my asking price. Also, I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition.

The steel case is in bright condition, with some wear and scratches here and there. It measures 33mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 38mm long, including the lugs. The case back closes correctly and firmly and the inside is signed ‘Omega', ‘Fab Suisse Swiss Made’, ‘Acier Staybrite’ and the ‘9709053’ reference number.

The beautiful original two-tone dial is in good, bright condition and is signed 'Omega’. The original hands are in very good, unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The hand wound Omega 15 jewel movement is very good, clean conditionand is excellent quality, as you would expect. The movement is signed ‘Omega’, ‘15 Jewels’, ‘Swiss’ and the ‘8894823’ movement reference number. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very good working order.

We have put the watch is on a new, quality leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new, high quality watch case.
