This is a beautiful Breitling vintage chronograph watch, dating from the early 1960s and is in very good all-original condition, making the watch a highly collectable investment piece. It features a stainless steel case, original signed winding crown, a very clean original, unrestored silvered dial, and a signed Breitling/Venus 17 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order. The watch comes complete with a quality Hirsch leather strap, and a new, quality presentation case. It will provide a strong financial investment.

My asking price is below the value of the watch, given the continual rise in value of Breitling vintage chronograph watches of this quality. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the working order. The stainless steel case is in very good, bright condition, with little wear, and measures 36mm, excluding the original signed winding crown and pushers x 43mm long, including the lugs. The back closes correctly and the outside back is signed ‘Breitling’, ‘Swiss Made’, ‘Waterproof Antimagnetic Shockprotected’, ‘Stainless Steel’ and the ‘2002’ reference number.

The original, unrestored silvered dial is simply beautiful and is in superb clean condition, with no significant wear at all. It is signed ‘Breitling’, ‘Geneve’, ‘Top Time’ and ‘Swiss made’. The original hands, including flyback centre seconds hand, are in excellent unbent condition and the lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound Breitling Venus 17 jewel movement is in excellent clean condition, and is fully and correctly signed. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age with all functions working correctly. The flyback centre seconds hand returns crisply to the 12 position.

This lovely watch is on a quality Hirsch leather strap, which suits it perfectly, and comes complete with a new, quality presentation case, for safekeeping.
