This is a simply stunning ladies Rolex Datejust Perpetual, in steel and solid 18ct yellow gold [Model 69173 / Serial R856604]. The watch is in superb condition, with no significant wear - even better and crisper than photographed. Dating from 1987, the watch features a stainless steel case with solid 18ct yellow gold diamond bezel, steel and 18ct yellow gold Jubilee bracelet, quick-set date, a Rolex self-winding movement, and a beautiful mint original and unrestored mother pearl diamond dial. There are 40 diamonds on the bezel and 11 on the dial and the diamonds are of course genuine mined stones. The solid steel case is in excellent clean condition, with very minor wear. The bezel is 18ct yellow gold and is set with 40 diamonds. The case measures 26mm wide, excluding the original 18ct gold screw-down crown [signed with the famous Rolex crown emblem] x 33mm long, including the lugs. The case back screws correctly closed and the inside is all correctly signed with the Rolex insignia. The outside back is signed ‘Original Rolex design’, ‘Stainless steel’. The case carries the Model 69173 / Serial R856604 reference numbers between the lugs and they are clearly visible.

The lovely original, unrestored mother of pear dial is in mint clean condition, apart from one tiny crack at the 10 position, which is hard to see with the naked eye. It is set with 11 diamonds and is signed 'Rolex’, ‘Oyster Perpetual Datejust’, ‘Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified’ and ‘Swiss made’. The original hands, including smooth-sweeping centre seconds hand, are also in mint condition, and the original Rolex cyclops lens is perfectly clear.

The Rolex self-winding movement is excellent quality, as you would expect and in crisp, clean condition. It is fully and correctly signed Rolex. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in perfect working order, keeping excellent time. The quickset date function works correctly.

The watch is on its original signed Rolex Jubilee bracelet, which is steel with solid 18ct yellow gold central links. The bracelet is at its original factory length. The bracelet is in excellent condition with very minor wear. The watch comes complete a new, non-Rolex presentation box.
