This is a beautiful Rolex gents watch, dating from the 1940s and in very good condition for its age, with minor wear. It features a steel Dennison-made case, a very clean dial and a quality Rolex 15 jewel hand-wound movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order. The watch comes on a new, quality Hirsch leather strap and comes complete with a new, quality presentation case for wrapping as the perfect gift. The watch is small by today’s standards so will suit either a gent who prefers a smaller watch or a lady who prefers a larger one.

My asking price is below the value of the watch, given the continual rise in value of Rolex vintage watches of this quality and rarity. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the working order. Also, I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days if UK customer, twelve days if overseas, in the same condition. The solid steel case is in good condition for its age, with minor wear and measures 30mm, excluding the winding crown x 37mm long, including the lugs. The back closes tightly and the inside back is signed ‘Dennison’ [the famous English casemakers who made British-market cases for all the top Swiss watchmakers], ‘Made in England’, ‘Denisteel back’, the ‘12325’ case reference number and the ‘0928’ model number.

The beautiful dial is in mint clean condition and is signed ‘Rolex’, ‘Shock resisting’ and ‘Swiss made’. The original hands, including centre-seconds hand, are in very good unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound 15 jewel Rolex movement is in clean condition, and is signed 'Rolex’ '15 Rubies’ and ‘Swiss made’. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order.

This lovely watch is on a new quality Hirsch leather strap, which suits it perfectly. It comes complete with a new, quality presentation case, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
