This is a rare gents Dunhill Art Deco vintage watch from my private collection. Dating from the 1920s, during the Art Deco era, the watch is in good, bright condition for its age and features a solid silver case, gorgeous Art Deco dial and a quality Swiss 15 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in good working order for a watch of this age. The watch comes complete with a leather strap and a new watch box. It is small by today’s large standards so please check the case measurements below. Also, it is a very old watch, it is unlikely to be as reliable as a modern watch.

My asking price is below the value of the watch, given the continual rise in value of vintage watches of this quality. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the working order. The solid silver hinged case is in good, bright condition for its age and measures 16mm wide, excluding the replacement winding crown x 34mm long, including the fixed bar lugs. The back of the case closes correctly and the the case carries faded silver hallmarks.

The beautiful Art Deco dial is in very clean condition and is signed ‘Dunhill’. The original blued hands are in very good unbent condition, and the lens is clear.

The original Swiss 15 jewel movement is in good bright, clean condition. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age.

As mentioned, this lovely watch is on a quality leather strap. The watch comes complete with a watch box, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
