This is a beautiful Rado ladies Art Deco vintage watch, dating from the 1920s and in very good condition for a watch of this age. The watch features a beautifully decorated solid platinum case, set with 8 glittery diamonds, a very clean dial and a high-grade Rado hand-wound 17 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in good working order. The watch comes on a vintage cocktail strap with steel clasp and comes complete with a new, quality presentation case for wrapping as the perfect gift.

The solid platinum hinged case is in excellent condition - amazing for its age - and is set with 8 glittery genuine diamonds. The sides are beautifully decorated. The case measures 10mm wide, excluding the original unsigned winding crown x 30mm long, including the lugs. The back closes correctly on a hinge and the outside back is signed ‘Platin’ for platinum.

The Art Deco dial is in very clean condition and is signed ‘Rado’. The original steel hands are in excellent unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound 17 jewel Rado movement is in mint clean condition, and is signed 'Rado Watch Company’ 'Unadjusted’, ‘17 Seventeen Jewels' and ‘Swiss’. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age.

This lovely watch is on a vintage cord cocktail strap, with steel clasp. The strap is in very good condition and the strap and watch measures 165mm from tip to tip. The watch comes complete with a new, quality presentation case, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
