This is one of the most magnificent ladies Art Deco platinum and diamond wristwatches I have ever seen. It is by Asprey - the world-renowned historic jewellers. Dating from the 1930s, the watch is in near mint condition, with no significant wear - far more gleaming, glittery and impressive than photographed - the camera can’t begin to do it justice so you are sure to be thrilled with the actual watch. The watch features an amazing diamond-encrusted solid platinum case (72 genuine diamonds), a mint clean original Art Deco dial and a freshly-serviced Swiss movement. It comes complete with a vintage cord cocktail strap and a beautiful non-original antique watch box. This is a very valuable watch and will provide an excellent financial investment. The solid platinum hinged fancy case is just stunning! Beautifully engraved and encrusted with 72 genuine high quality glittery diamonds. It is long and in excellent near-mint condition - more gleaming than photographed. The case measures 14.4mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 73.3mm long including the decorated lugs. The back of the case closes correctly on a hinge and the inside of the case back is signed ‘All platinum’ for platinum.

The beautiful original, unrestored Art Deco dial is in very clean condition, with minor and even wear, and is signed ‘Asprey’ and ‘Swiss made. The original blued steel hands are perfect unbent condition and the lens is very clear.

The quality Swiss hand-wound 15 jewel movement is in excellent condition and was made for Asprey by respected Swiss movement makers Invicta. It has just been oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order.

This beautiful watch is on a vintage cord cocktail strap, which is in excellent condition. The watch comes in a beautiful non-original antique watch box, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
